Stage 4 cancer with metastasis? Not gonna make it. No amount of money or power can stop a dead man walking.

But it does make ya wonder why he wanted to run for a second term. He probably won’t make it to the end of the current administration.

He won’t live long enough to see the major impact of slow rolling Trump’s arrest.

I wish cancer got the other guy, but I feel no sympathy for an old racist who betrayed various words and didn’t fight back against the fascist hard enough.

I wonder how the reaction here would be if trump had this happen to him instead. Fuck being polite about awful people.

Thank goodness he lives in a country where the cancer hospitals haven’t been bombed out of existence with weapons funded by the United States under the leadership of Joe Biden.

That would have been a bummer, wouldn’t it? Joe Biden should have been ashamed of himself if he had allowed such a thing to happen under his leadership. Thank God he didn’t.

Oh weird, so it wasn’t a constant stream of weapons provided with stamped approval by the admin? It wasn’t that the only time they threatened to stop it was only a very specific type of heavy bomb, not any other munitions? It wasn’t the Biden admin who initially rejected the terms ceasefire until deep into the conflict? It wasn’t the Biden admins ceasefire plans that were accepted and abandoned by Trump, proving that if they had provided full throated support of those plans it could have very reasonably happened a year sooner?

Best thing you can say about this fuck was that he was the white guy they used to get Obama elected, cause they figured no one would vote for him unless he had a token cracker.

Man, the criticisms are valid, and I’ll even add to them because his pride in not stepping down sooner doomed what shreds of american democracy were left. That said, the best and largest climate bill ever passed by the US govt happened under him. Unions were bolstered and grew under him (not the train workers tho lol) and if nothing else, his victory let me not think about the fat orange cow for ten minutes. In so many ways, I pity and even kinda miss that sad sleepy bastard-- however much he floundered in almost every way. As a bonus his dogs hated government agents as much as I do, and got to bite them with impunity.

Totally fair, despite the vitriol and glibness of my response. But man, as you mentioned the railroad was a big fuck up. Speaking of shitty situations for Palestinians… East Palestine Ohio happened like 2 months after he made the rail workers go back to work, and it was one of the exact problems they were striking for. That’s directly on his hands.

Maybe it is downvoted because those weapons were funded long before Joe Biden was the leader?

The Leahy law requires that those weapons be withheld. But the party of letting bullshit procedure get in the way of doing the right thing doesn’t let actual law get in the way of doing the wrong thing.

With all the best doctors the presidents have, they discover it only at the fourth stage?

I’m a lowly peasant and my work let me do a yearly blood+pee test, I assumed that for presidents it would be something like a weekly checkup

It’s likely that they knew a long time ago but they are just now announcing it. This would probably also explain why he was so mentally foggy or, seeming like he had dementia. Many cancer drug drugs can do that toyou.

I always love the cognitive dissonance people have seeing others hope that a man directly responsible for a metric ton of civilian deaths, succumbing to a painful death, is not ethically correct.

I mean people seem to have zero issue with United Healthcare. Exorbitant Healthcare costs is the equivalent of death, but literally bombing hospitals and refugee camps isn’t?

Not to mention that he’ll be receiving the latest and greatest in medical aid anyway, so there’s a fair chance he’ll survive. A lot of geriatric asshat world leaders contracted covid and still lived.

I can’t even tell if this is DNC shilling because several people have implied they would treat Trump the same. Wth kind of moral compass are yall following lol?

No no you see his bombs that killed people and ignoring of COVID was good so being happy is bad.

And Trump’s bombs that killed people and ignoring of COVID was bad, so being happy is good.

Why yes I am morally consistent and not at all blinded by my love of politicians who don’t know I exist or care for me. I’m a good American!!

      directly

      Sorry, what?

Remind me again — Was Biden Israel’s Prime Minister?

It may help to inform your confusion if you start looking at things with a bit more nuance than these stark black-and-white takes. If you want, I can try to walk you down this road.

Biden directly sent the bombs he knew were going to be used to bomb those hospitals to Israel and then lied that those bombs were not being used to bomb hospitals.

I’d like a source on that, please!

So just to be clear: You believe that Biden indeed was fully aware and wanted Bibi to continue bombing Palestinians indiscriminately?

Or is it perhaps more nuanced in that there was a clear erosion of partnership was the months ticked on; that Bibi was clearly trying to get Trump elected because he was starting to get the cold-shoulder form the Biden/Harris administration; that Biden had started to condition aid on the basis of providing access of humanitarian aid into Gaza?

I don’t think Harris or Biden wanted to be associated, nor condoned genocide. But the position Democrats were placed in was bad spot, considering :

          • a) If they stopped all aid, then Bibi just ignored intelligence or invoked a false flag attack, Democrats would be blamed as leaving Israel defenseless and then news would run with their being antisemitic.

          • b) We can’t forget that the Jewish American electorate in key battleground states were a larger voting bloc, and distancing too much from Israel would not only risk losing this group (who Musk was already dumping $70 million in attack ads to both Jewish and Muslim communities in Pennsylvania alone with opposite messages) — but also inviting the wrath of AIPAC.

Naturally, the strategic move was to espouse palestinian self-determination and a 2-state solution, say Oct 7th was wrong, to push for more humanitarian aid into Gaza, and to call for increased discretion in targeting inside Gaza — which is exactly what Harris did.

Now, congratulations to couch-sitters and uncommitted movement for not only exacerbating conditions in Gaza, but also being “indirectly” responsible for Russia’s genocide in Ukraine, as well as the erosion of human rights in America for trans and women’s bodily autonomy — as well as addressing the impending crisis of climate change, which need I remind you, will kill far more people in the long-run.

US President Biden says he urged Israeli Premier Netanyahu to avoid carpet-bombing Gaza

“You can’t be carpet-bombing these communities,” Biden told Netanyahu during a conversation shortly after the Gaza war started in October 2023, according to the outgoing president.

In an interview with MSNBC late Thursday, Biden said that Netanyahu countered that during World War II, the US carpet-bombed Berlin and dropped a nuclear weapon.

Big shoutout to the uncommitted movement and couch sitters for not rewarding genocide. You could learn a thing or two from them if you do not want Trump again

That is not evidence of your original claim.

Nor is it a refutation to my counter-points.

I’m sure the Gazan residents are oh so grateful for this Pyrrhic grandstanding as the blueprints of turning the strip into a Riviera are being written up.

Meanwhile such couch-sitters certainly enabled the genocide of many by ignoring Trump’s association with another war criminal, Putin and his undermining of Ukrainian aid. And again, can’t forget the blood on their hands for being culpable in choosing the one blocking climate change action, right? I guess you’re also not for women’s rights on abortion or LGBTQ+ rights?

(also LOL for using a Turkish state-run media far-right media outlet. Slow clap.)

I’m aware of the words (which, by the way still do not lend evidence to your aforementioned claim); I’m just curious why one wouldn’t cite the primary source that is MSNBC and instead goes with a far-right extremist state-run outlet. Slow clap, indeed.
