Fico said he could not support any measure stopping the import of Russian fuel for Slovakia’s nuclear power plants.

Attempts to hit Russia’s gas and nuclear sectors have consistently hit obstacles, with opposition from Slovakia and other countries, like Hungary, that still rely on Russian energy supplies.

    If Slovakia keeps opposing sanctions, I guess they can just take funds from Russia then, as EU should stop all funding and let them boil in their own stupidity. You get what you vote for. You don’t like EU? then GTFO!

      Absolutely. Same with Hungary. They both love EU funds, but they both hate what the EU stands for: democracy, eguality, human rights and peace.
