In today’s world the /s is always necessary. There are lots of people who will earnestly say exactly what you said
I’m not who you replied to, but I do my best to leave out the /s. How people react to my comments is my gauge for how messed up the world is.
Then you are part of the problem.
Nope; just an indicator. The notion that people need training wheels when reading un-backed rando comments so they don’t take it as gospel is another indicator.
But the “indicator” has effects on the people who read it. It pushes some people further in that direction
You can’t observe something without changing what you are observing.
