Honestly, it is a situation that has no clear answer. It is very frustrating!

I personally think that there should be three presidents, each overseeing a major chunk of America - West, Center, and East. This would help divide up the power of the executive branch, as the Judicial and Congressional branches would remain a global aspect of the nation. Unitary executive theory would be dead, since there can be no unitary, IMO.

Plus, we can have three separate elections - someone who ran to be elected in Centre America can’t run for the other two regions. This would allow us to have a lot more candidates, all of them quite focused on what they offer the region they decided to run for. Right now, a president has to appeal to ALL of America, which means not many people will actually be happy.

Considering that Trump has killed all sorts of diplomatic relationships, I think it would be better for California and the other blue states to form their own arrangements with other powers, alongside internal ones.

Trump killed NOAA. The weather service that helped all of the states to prepare their crops and disaster management, is now torn to pieces. Our schools are being barred from having students from abroad, which weakens America’s abilities to have the best and brightest to join our nation. Tariffs are destroying our supply chains. The courts have become delegitimized, used to entrap people who dared to believe in the justice of law. The wall of flesh in Panama is failing.

Our enemies have burrowed inside our flesh. If we don’t remove them, we are truly screwed.

Sign me up for Cali’s defense. Better to fight Trump and his kind, than to live with them for the rest of my life.

I hope this convinces Californians to sign the CalExit petition, so that California can start researching the option to secede. The way things are looking, the dissolution of the union seems likely. It would be better if California and the other blue states got prepared for that.

I can see the EU funding it. This could be a measure to allow Blue States circumvent the federal system - a CaliTAX, AlohaTAX, ect. This would be vital during a civil war scenario, so that the Blue States can having working taxation systems without having to redo everything.

I think narcissism extends the lifespan of evil people, through the sheer power of the placebo effect. That sucks.

I am hoping we have an Roosevelts-style president to reform America into something greater. America still has potential to do great good on the world stage, but that will require an overhaul of society. It will hurt, but I think we could become a renewed beacon of democracy and egalitarianism, if we fight for it.

I suspect that Trump would be one of the most influential presidents, destroying a superpower in record time. China had the mythological evil kitsune empress Daji, we have the real world Trump.

This guy will be in history books, for all the wrong reasons.

Whenever I try to believe things aren’t bad and that I am delusional for learning how to gun, stuff like this happens. My hopes for a peaceful and boring future are dying.

Never did recreational drugs nor beer in my life. Lots of history books, though. In them, many governments turned to dust, and the US government has been deliberately creating the conditions to kill itself:

Manufactured famine and disaster by dissolving the NOAA weather service alongside FEMA, unchecked greed by the wealthy that is causing workers to give up on their careers, the abandonment of our science, medicine, and food standards, betrayal of our minority soldiers and civilians, de-legitimizing the rule of law, the loss of our foreign relations and trade, and more.

It is very likely that famine, plague, poverty, war, chaos, and death are the horsemen of our future.

If I were her, I would start preparing the National Guard and networking with other like-minded governors. If Trump is willing to pardon people who wanted to claim her life, then he wanted her dead. That is grounds for war.

IMO, the dissolution of the union has become nearly inevitable. The questions lie in the when, how, and whether good people come out on top. The good guys should set up mutual aid in advance, be it weather reports, treaties with Europe, Rainbow Panther militia, lawyers, or taxation that cuts out the federal government.

It would be so very Warhammer 40k if sheer capitalism warped humanity into the Skaven.
