AI is theft in the first place. None of the current engines have gotten their training data legally. The are based on pirated books and scraped content taken from websites that explicitely forbid use of their data for training LLMs.

And all that to create mediocre parrots with dictionaries that are wrong half the time, and often enough give dangerous, even lethal advice, all while wasting power and computational resources.

YT is only usable with ad blockers nowadays. And then it does not make a difference if you have a subscription or not.

I would subscribe YT if they had a reasonably priced ad free tier, but if it does not make a difference, I’ll watch it for free.

Mach einen besseren Vorschlag, der die Situation tatsächlich löst, und ich bin gerne bereit, darüber zu diskutieren. Die momentanen “Lösungen” lösen eben nichts, sondern vergrößern das Problem.

So I could have a usable machine at work? Good. I am forced to upgrade from win7 to win11 in the lab, and current win11 crap did not appeal to me at all. And it has WSL, so at least it can actually be used for work.

Dass es keine Mitwirkungspflicht gibt, macht keinen Sinn. Sie wollen Asyl, nach dem Dublin-Verfahren werden sie es hier nicht bekommen, also muss es in ihrem Interesse sein, das Problem zu lösen. Wir dürfen nur nicht in die Falle geraten, ihnen den Aufenthalt als “wir warten darauf, dass ihnen einfällt, wo sie eingereist sind” so angenehm zu gestalten, dass sie das als besser ansehen, als im Ersteinreiseland Asyl zu beantragen.

Und dass das Dublin-Verfahren sehr problematisch ist und besonders die südlichen EU-Staaten stark benachteiligt, dass ist noch ein anderes Problem. Ja, die Asylanten sollten gerecht auf die EU-Staaten aufgeteilt werden, aber wenn Du versuchst, “gerecht” zu definieren, wird es sehr, sehr schwierig.

Also dann nicht zurückweisen, sondern festhalten, bis das zuständige Land gefunden ist.

Ich bin auch nicht davon begeistert, Menschen einzusperren. Aber was ist die Alternative? Manche Dinge gehen halt nicht ohne Druck.
