Stop eating meat and diary products. Better for the climate too.

The Netherlands is slowly sinking beneath the waves, this is going to be verrry expensive. So if they worry so much about money, fixing the climate is probably more useful than fixing the current economy (or migration for that matter).

I’m old and have studied history extensively. Life on our planet has improved. Life expectancy is way up, hunger, slavery, discrimination much less - multiple studies show this. We are on the brink of a world war. In 10,20 years from now, you will think about today as the happy times - make a note of it.

I guess this is news, although it does little for me. Or for the people mourning the victims.

People have fallen victim to the wilders narrative. Wouldn’t it help to take a deep breath, a step back and look at the data… for instance, the number of asylum seekers is going down (for many different reasons, eg frontex has put up a formidable wall, and the conflicts in Syria and Afghanistan stopped etc), but the right wing and populism are on the rise. I can understand this causes confusion but the danger to Dutch (or European) democracy is now coming from another direction: rightwing extremist terror is increasing. That’s what the statistics and data clearly show. The way Wilders toppled the government was a disgrace, this guy is not a statesman but a Trump-like charlatan, hobnobbing it with Le Pen, orban, Meloni - all anti-democrats.

Seeking asylum obviously isn’t the issue - xenophobia and many years of propaganda by Wilders / PVV are.
