AUSTIN, Texas (KBTX) - A statewide ban on hemp-derived THC products could soon become law in Texas, leaving retailers and employees across the state and the Brazos Valley bracing for layoffs and shutdowns.

    If the kids they are so worried about need food or housing or education though, they can kick rocks. But they are NOT going to get any THC. No way. (Not that I think that’s actually happening in reality). That said, if Abbott gets the bribe he is angling for, I’m sure this bill will get vetoed. Now excuse me, I have to go purchase some guns for my children to go squirrel hunting with.

      What makes you believe Hot Wheels is looking for a bribe on this particular issue…??

      This is a simple “pandering to the base” “think of the children” “drugs are a criminal scourge” issue…

      It’s red meat for the base. This is getting signed. 🤷‍♂️

      Abbott intervened to keep decriminalized pot off of the Republican Platform back in 2018. The state Party wanted to go for decriminalization and he is 100% against it. Abbott is a christofascist and this is what he wants
