This really captures the reality of the situation, and is exactly what pisses me off most about these uber-wealthy: they are cheapskates to their very core and will not give up a penny without being a fucking Karen first
I just imagine he has a giant carnival wheel that’s marked with all sorts of reprehensible things to do and he just spins it whenever he’s bored and proceeds to executive order whatever he lands on
There’s nothing good in America because there’s nothing good in Americans. I should know, I was one.
That’s a level of self-awareness this country could use tbh. My man’s not afraid to admit he’s got nothing good in himself in service of making the greater point that none of us Americans have nothing good in us either. 🥂
I know this isn’t really a universal indicator, but for me it’s been watching the price of simple things like chips, candy, and soda ($3 for a 20 oz bottle?!?). All things that i enjoy occasionally but as the price of all these things continues to rise it becomes easier to say no. I was shocked to see the bagel place in town charging $15 for a sandwich on a bagel. Nobody seems to bat an eye though. I think I’m probably just getting gradually priced out of my town ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Of course I’m aware i don’t have to buy any of that stuff and i can cook and make food at home, and that’s what I’ve started doing. I may treat myself on occasion but i just can’t justify spending that much on stuff that didn’t used to cost half that. I’m probably just getting old and remember “back in my day” all too well, lol

The Trump administration has set strict quotas for arresting anyone even suspected of being in the country illegally, with Stephen Miller ordering that 3,000 people be arrested every single day, or ICE officers will face consequences
What the fuck
Ahhh yes, nothing like American Freedom™ (disclaimer: may/may not contain freedom depending on state, court, race, gender, sexuality, et al)
They have every right to say that about the US, though, and I am happy they can voice thier opinion. Unlike in China, where the government will happily throw you and your family behind bars for saying something even approaching a bad opinion of government action.
I think the concern here could be that revoking visas might be a first step towards a more intolerant policy a la China as referenced above
It’s weird–Tesla at least projected some sort of ‘higher-end’ quality back when they first started coming around but as time has gone on it’s proven itself to be a very cheaply-made vehicle.
The fact they insist on using their proven-inferior tech for FSD tells you all you need to know: they aren’t looking to innovate or even bring themselves up to modern standards. They are determined to make their cars with the cheapest, shittiest tech and they’ll just grease the right palms in order to proceed as necessary.
The strange thing here is that in America there’s a better chance they might have found it earlier–if only because they’re gung-ho on testing because they can bill for it.
This guy is such a piece of shit and deserves much worse in my opinion. I looked into the case for a min just to enjoy some of the details of him being taken down.
One of my favorite moments was when he revealed that he truly has no spine (surprise! Lol): when he actually tried to obtain a pardon from the cheeto-in-chief, this is a direct quote from Menendez: “President Trump is right,” Menendez said in a statement. “This process is political, and it’s corrupted to the core. I hope President Trump cleans up the cesspool and restores the integrity to the system.”
Rot in prison, shit-head🖕
